Correct use
1. Casters must be installed at the designed position indicated by the manufacturer.
2. The installed caster bracket must have sufficient strength and conform to the bearing capacity when in use.
3. The function of casters cannot be changed and is not affected by the installation device.
4. The rotating axle must always be vertical.
5. The fixed casters must be in a straight line with their axles.
6. If only rotating casters are used, they must be consistent.
7. If fixed casters are used together with rotating casters, all casters must be compatible with each other and must be used according to the manufacturer's recommendation.
Maintenance method
1. Check the visible wear degree of tire tread. The "smooth point" of the tire tread can indicate the accumulation of foreign matters, such as thread ends, iron wires and other foreign matters may wind around the wheel. Take out the bolts and nuts on the wheel and clean up the foreign matters. Check whether the wheel bearings are damaged. If the parts are not damaged, they can be reassembled and used again. If the wheel is often entangled by sundries, it is suggested to install an anti-entanglement cover to avoid it.
2. Loose casters or stuck wheels of universal wheels can also cause "grinding points". Proper maintenance and inspection, especially check the tightness of bolts and the amount of lubricating oil, and replace the damaged casters can enhance the rolling performance and rotation flexibility of the equipment.
3. Serious damage or loosening of rubber tires may lead to rolling instability, air leakage, abnormal load, and damage to the bottom plate, etc. Timely replacement of damaged tires and bearings can reduce the cost loss caused by the stoppage of work due to damage of casters.
4. After checking and repairing the wheel, determine whether the bolts and nuts are tightened, and use check washer or locknuts on all bolts as much as possible. If the bolts are loose, tighten them immediately. If the wheel installed in the bracket is loose, the wheel will be damaged or unable to rotate.
